NEAL MARQUEZ
State Demography Office
Population trends of Larimer county and how the composition of the county has changed over time. In addition, he will discuss the population forecasts of the county and what may alter the county's growth rate in the future.
Neal Marquez is the Population Projections Demographer with the State Demography Office at DOLA. His current work assesses the population dynamics of Colorado state to make informed population projections that assist in planning and research endeavors for state and local officials. Neal has a Ph.D. in sociology from the University of Washington as well as a Masters in Public Health from the University of Washington with a focus on statistical methods and migration. Neal has worked with a number of state and local governments, non-profits, and research groups prior to joining DOLA. In his free time Neal enjoys going on bike rides across the city in search of new hole in the wall spots in Denver for good food.
